Fusion Church was a new church plant out of Harbour Christian City Church. It began in 2001 with a small team. Initially they met and prayed weekly, then began Sunday services, and ran an Alpha Course. After some leadership changes, Jack and Gaye Stradwick took on the leadership in October 2002. At that time the church was renting small premises in a large complex in Royal Oak, Auckland. After eight months, we moved to a larger venue in the same complex.

God had been drawing us, and we had been increasingly seeking Him for more of His presence for several months. In March 2004, we held our first conference – “Healing and Miracles” - with Gary and Kathi Oates, and a team from Randy Clark’s organization “Global Awakening”.

Another conference followed in May with Canadian itinerant speaker Mark Banyard. Mark is an old friend of Jack and Gaye's, and now a good friend of Fusion. He will be back in March 2006, along with Craig Kinniburgh from Palmerston North, for a conference entitled "Taste and See" March 3rd - 5th.

We modified our facilities to accommodate these conferences, and have recently taken on extra space.

In late 2005, we hosted another great conference with Gary and Kathi Oates called "Open Heaven", which was a wonderful time in the presence of God! This has now deveoped into an annual event, and we will host "Open Heaven 2006" , again with the Oates, later in the year.

We are excited about where God is leading us, and we plan other events for 2006, including a healing/evangelism conference with Bill and Carol Dew in May 2006, and a prophetic conference with Kris Vallotton from Bethel Church, Redding, C.A. in October, 2006.

Our heart and passion at Fusion is to be a group of believers who "know their God, are strong, and carry out great exploits" (Dan. 11;32).

We long to see the Kingdom of God come, here on earth, in our church and in our community!
